tea? Whenever I splurge on a fancy/expensive one, it's always super disappointing and has like no flavor. The wife got me some super nice looking Assam for xmas and it's like... dust...

Do I just have bad taste? A couple good ones I can remember are Tetleys, and Trader Joe's english breakfast. Neither of those strike me as particularly high quality brands.

for grocery store tea, i like Tazo's English Breakfast, but those pale in comparison to good loose leaf tea.

Petali Tea sells through my local coffee roaster and i like their "Cosmopolitan Black" a lot. when i run out and go back to Tazo i'm just like "... where's the flavor bro?"

also, how much water do you use for 1 bag? more than 8oz and the brew will taste weak

Use two teabags.

I like tetley personally you can always double up the bags for a stronger tea.

Oh yeah Tazo is pretty decent. Never heard of Petali, i'll have to see if I can try that somewhere :0

Usually more than 8 oz yeah, but it's fine for the strong teas I like. I did try 8oz with the Assam mentioned in the topic title and it was still really flavorless :b

I think a lot of packaged milk tea uses assam and usually has a super strong tea flavor, so I wonder how they are doing it

they sell through amazon for about the same price i pay through my local coffee roaster. i've also tried their Green w/peach + mango and it was quite good. got their moroccan mint ready to go next!

yea tetley is good. My ex-gfs family was from england and always drank that, so i picked it up from them

I always order loose tea from tea/coffee specialty shops.

I thought it was funny. Reminds me of people in MapleStory purposely setting their shop title as "She told me to stick it in her assistant's folder" because until you clicked the shop, the title preview would cut off at "She told me to stick it in her ass"
