Left wing people can be huge hypocritical bigots too. You shouldnt label people as right wing and demonize them based on your own bias assumptions just like you wouldnt want people labeling and dehumanizing you. We are all people just with different beliefs.

I dont agree with everything you say but I was treated in a way I did not expect by a small number of individuals that I though were more progressively minded

First, what's any of that have to do with politics?

Second, overlooking peoples' skepticism, you've been talking about variations of this for years. It's not like this is coming out of nowhere. You'd mentioned it before -- or at least raised the possibility -- although each time you'd dropped it afterward, or hadn't gone so far into it.

Most of a censorship thing tbh i.e. you're more likely to be ostracized by the left than the right, there's less of a collective identity across the right so you hear more range of right wingers ideas, mild and extreme.

The more prominent at best get as far left as our Labour and Green party, that really is not "far-left".

I dont know of any times leftist people have tried to make me feel shame or discourage me for behaving in a feminine way aside from just a few times that were outliers that I still dont entirely understand, but a whole bunch of conservative and moderate people really put me through hell at every opportunity

I'm moderate as far as american politics goes. But ive always been for equal rights for people provided what they do aint harming nobody

Had a history teacher tell us. Our freedoms should extend only as far as the next persons nose. In other words we should be able to do whatever we want till it affects someone else.

its what my perception was from a couple of users

that may have been paranoid insecure male feelings, but they were feelings I felt numerous times from two individuals over a long period of time

if I find out Im wrong them Im happy to listen and maybe gain insight. But at the time it just hurt an old Queens feelings who didnt know she was this way and was just trying to be nice to people

its taken me some time in life to learn that theres a performative kindness that I was taught by an abuser, and theres nothing kind about it

i regret and Im sorry for people that Ive harmed with that, especially since Im not aware of some of the times I did that. I was too focused on myself and just being co-dependent and narcissistic.

a lot of people tell me now that they wish me well. And I always appreciate it. But Ive found that for some people that kinda means goodbye. Maybe not forever, but they have had enough outta you

All I can do right now is reflect and try to keep breaking patterns of unhealthful behavior in all types of relationships and friendships. Coming out is helping but I still have a lot of work to do to change into the person I feel that I am with a kind heart and soul, so Im eager to cast off this male facade, wish it well, and live a better life that doesnt pull anyone down.

I dont like ruffling feathers but Ive got some bad habits that make it a thing that seems to happen often enough that I know Im the problem

Im really trying everyday to learn better ways of being towards people.

im not some centrist or moderate or libertarian or some corporate democrat. Im a person living a whole life and learning things as I go along. Im done treading carefully when it comes to who I am though

Im gonna try real hard not to break anyones rules or hurt anyones feelings. But when I fail I have to be the one to take responsibility and change for the better. Its a whole rainbow road I think but Im determined to build it even if I gotta do it one Crayola Cobblestone at a time.

I gotta add that I dont regret leaving that discord group. Its mostly good people but theres also some cruelty that happens in private groups like that. Maybe some people didnt see it but I was shut down and steamrolled by kana and Foxx for literally years, it would happen here on potd long before I joined that group.

I had enough of it and I still wont tolerate it. Im sorry for things that are my fault but Im not sorry at all for shining a light on things. I can be dramatic but I always tried to be respectful of both of those users on this site as well as that one.

I know everyone likes to think that crazy mead is just crazy, but thats not always it. I shared some screenshots with names censored but those were far from the only times those two ganged up on me in an otherwise casual conversation. Ive only just recently started standing up against things like that.

Because for a long time I would just ignore things like that. Im not doing that anymore. I value kindness and I try to be genuine to everyone. Sometimes people walk over those who are timid, and Im not fucking timid anymore.

If people want to be a friend or an ally then they gotta act like it or they can fuck right off until they learn to just be better to others. There are bullies everywhere, all different types. Im not free from guilt in that regard, but that doesnt mean I will abide it either.

And the whole getting performatively offended about someone airing some dirty laundry is gross and transparent. Im simply not a person that is gonna try to air personal details or anything of that nature. Objectivity is important, I learned that lesson recently.

Treat me well and Ill treat you well. Try to hurt me and everyones gonna hear about it.

Crazy Mead is best Mead

Its like when I started to come out the two of them just decided that I was in no way valid for feeling the way I do. Once I started dipping my toe into the water being open about my gender confusion they both took on different patterns of communication when it came to me. I can get paranoid sure but Im getting pretty good at understanding the difference now between irrational intrusive thoughts and valid feelings.

I dont expect anyone to take my word for it, but that is what I experienced.

I'm enjoying live-streaming way more than this message board goofiness honestly. People build up weird notions in their head about you when all they see is text. People forget that there are real people on the other side of the screen. Even vulnerable people forget that. Sometimes theyre the quickest to do so.
