For example, are they more likely to give more financial aid to a STEM major than an Art History major? Always wondered this.

Not talking about local scholarships set up by the school or alumni, talking about state/federal aid.

I don't recall mine changing when I switched from computer science to english with a focus in technical writing, so I assume not.

I guess I'm surprised that's not discussed as a policy option since so many curmudgeons use "dumb kids majoring in literature" as an argument against student debt relief.
