I guess I could choose somewhere nicer to grow up, but how general is "general location" and who knows if circumstances even result in me staying there long. Do I keep the same parents?

The problem is, without any of my memories, then whoever is reborn essentially isn't me. And if it isn't me, then fuck that guy (or girl).

In which case the only acceptable option is to embrace the Nirvana option and leap right the fuck off the Wheel.

I'd choose the same gender, 20YO, and Finland (or one of the other "happiest" countries in the world), and hope that RNG favors me.

I don't know that I would do anything differently.

I hit the sweet spot so far - I was born well enough before technology took over to appreciate it and have had enough time after it to understand/use it.

I think right now really sucks as a time to raise kids - so maybe I would think about being born a generation or two before me so I could raise my kids like when I grew up - but then they might have kids at the same time and be in the same predicament. I also had kids fairly late in life - so they might not.

I mean, who knows, maybe this really does happen, or something like it.

Basically within your last lifeline, means during the period of time you were alive this time.

General location could be within the area/size of a state or a few countries. You could choose to be born in England, but not the specific town. You could choose a part of Australia which would make it more likely for you not to be born extremely poor (but no guarrantee).

As far as my choice, I'd get the heck out of dodge and jump off this merry go round if I had the option. I don't think we actually get that option mind you, but I am curious what people would choose.

IF I HAD to choose and didn't have the option to just go poof, I'd get born right around now. Hopefully covid will get dealt with before I'm old enough to really notice it, and imagine the amazing video games/mmo's etc there might be in the future. In general things keep getting more awesome (technology at least), and you still have all the old games available etc.

I'd probably be a chick and choose Ireland (and hope I got lucky and had red hair hehe).
