Had a date recently that initially was at about 2.5 hours long with rich Convo and lot of laughter. Thought it was getting late though and decided maybe time to call it and prep for a second date. She wanted to continue to hang out and talk, so we did for another two hours. Next day said she didn't feel anything romantically. Blew my mind. The only question I have is whether she wanted that extended time to be for "talking". Maybe she wanted you to make your move and, since you didn't, she moved on. I always advise going for a kiss on the first date if it is going well like that. I've been on several dates over the past year and I don't feel like going on either with some halfassed "so how did you like it?! " post-date response most of the time, which works if they're not feeling it either. You have good food, good beverages, and a nice convo if so, and that's all that matters if the chemistry wasn't there.
