I would post a video of someone comparing the difference between complaining and whining. But it's a My Little Pony video and I'm sure that would make some people uncomfortable

Criticizing is highlighting actual faults. Complaining is just saying things that you don't personally like, usually without even exploring why. Sometimes there is overlap

Constructive criticism is pointing out a flaw with the intent to provide awareness or perhaps a method of improvement.

Destructive criticism is pointing out a flaw without intention or means to fix it. Ei. Your shirt's ugly or your report writing is terrible.

Complaining is airing grievances. Sometimes with intent to fix them, sometimes just to vent.

Criticizing is constructive, complaining is just whining with no real solutions. There's a degree of overlap between the two.

Complaining is "The New York Giants stink!"

Criticizing is "I do not think the Giants GM is doing a good job building the team because..."
