This game is like half FE half Persona? What's it like

It plays similar to Persona games. Instead of the "One More" system it uses a "Session" system, where your allies make an extra attack against enemies after you hit those enemies attack. Instead of using your social link to give them better abilities in combat it uses their "stage rank".

Oh so like Strange Journey? Not my favorite system I gotta admit.

Dammit I just want to find a SMT-y JRPG on Switch besides III and V. Atlus are complete psychos for not porting every Persona.

Switch has Persona 5 strikers if you dont mind an action RPG.

how good is strikers? i was gifted it for christmas, but i heard it was basically just another warriors game. maybe the best warriors game, but a warrior game nonetheless

I dont wanna play strikers until I finish P5. But my SSD crashed in the middle of P5 so now I'm waiting for P5R on PC or something

If you play it like a warriors game you will die a lot. Its a Persona action RPG by the same devs but without the social link stuff. (You still have towns to explore)

Persona 5 strikers is pretty good. Like an 8/10. The new music is great and it's great to see the characters again. The battle system is also fun and surprisingly deep.

It's similar to Warrior games, but it's got a lot of RPG elements. Your Persona's have different skills, which are used by pulling up the menu, and selecting them. Attack moves have different elements, and do more or less damage based on your enemies weaknesses. There's also buffs, debuffs, and status effects you can inflict on enemies.
