The second film exploring Miyagi's background seems somewhat reasonable from speaking to the Okinawans that I've met, minus the fact that the nephew decides to try and murder Daniel in front of a crowd of people. Three takes it to a whole new level. Like a successful business dude has nothing else going on his life that he can just stop everything to go and fuckup a teenagers life? Plus Barnes is a psychopath who tries to literally kill Daniel a few times.
