Yeah, I think I kind of believe him, but I think it's also partly because I don't think Arians has handled any of this particularly well.

Arians is a clown.

I'm willing to believe his ankle was hurt. But he is being so sensational about it that it's hard not to think he's being biased and trying to put his spin on the more unsavory aspects of it.

Like it makes sense to go "hey teams only care about the team so they would medically clear him even if he wasn't acutally ready" but it also makes sense to go "AB's prior behavior makes it seem like his ankle 'kind of' hurt and he threw a tantrum."

The thing that makes me trust AB's story at least more than Arians is Arians flatly saying he didn't know about the injury, which I don't believe at all.

Plus, I think the fact that Tampa hasn't cut him gives credence to his story because you can't cut a player just because he gets hurt

Can you not cut him though for conduct detrimental to the team? Which that certainly has to be.

if he's claiming that Arians kicked him off the team because he wouldn't play hurt, then that would be a potential issue with the NFLPA

No, I don't just flatly believe Arians because coaches lie all the time and he's been caught talking out of both sides of his mouth when it comes to AB specifically.

I don't trust either when it comes down to it, but Arians hasn't had any credibility, especially when it comes to AB, in a long while.

I agree that neither side should be trusted. AB has been a clown, and has repeatedly proven to be a clown, and has no credibility to be believed otherwise. Can't fault anyone not believing him when he is crying wolf here.

Arians also has a well established history of being an asshole and as previously stated has already been caught lying about this situation.

Honestly I doubt we will ever get the full story.

But Sorozone is right. We'll never get the full story because coaches and players alike believe what happens on their team is sacred and not the business of anyone outside of the locker room, so Arians has no incentive to tell the whole truth, whether it exonerates him or not.

Yeah the crux of it is what was said when AB supposedly met with Arians that morning as dictated in the texts. It's possible arians meant, when asked if AB was injured, that he wasn't too injured to play IE misspeak. It's possible arians straight up lied. But unless we know whether or not AB went "Yes I will play if you need me to play" during that meeting, or if that meeting even happened, then all we can really do is assume. But arians did straight up say that he didn't know ab was injured when the texts say otherwise, so regardless of if tht's what he meant, it's what he said. Both people can be wrong here, arians for possibly lying and ab for quitting in a ridiculous, selfish fashion.
