I like how the old rod actually lets you catch more than Magikarp this time, but A) the game never fucking tells you this, veteran players from RBY have no reason to bother with it and will just forget it exists B) none of the fishable pokemon even learn any fucking water type attacks for like, 20 levels lmao. Gen 2 has its issues, but I still love replaying it every now and then. Sure, it probably is mainly nostalgia, but I'm having fun regardless and most of the issues don't detract from that. Kinda feel like playing it now, actually. Besides: Kim_Seong-a posted...
