Game was largely abandoned after a Heavy centric update was promised over four years ago. Game is filled with autosniper bots that farm for items. People that are left playing are Gen Z kids that were not playing the game 10 years ago. --- I make a topic in Final Fantasy 12 to ask if Tifa! They said no Tifa. Hardness gone!-gandob ... All my games were half full of either aim bots or spam bots. Or a combo of both. And plenty of people with aim bots pretending they dont have anything and insulting everyone else. ... They also have us waiting for the last comic on their website which is supposedly the conclusion to the game. It could be the ultimate valve time joke and something they never intend to actually make at this point however. Matchmaking funnels people into generic games and staunches the flow of new players into community servers. Community server variety is at an all time low, it's orange, forced humor maps and trade_minecraft whereas we used to have a bunch of crazy maps in there. F2Ps can't talk anymore because that was a failed measure to stop bots. (All it did was stop most of them spamming the chat to avoid players alerting each other to their presence.) So say good bye to excitable noobs in games, it's mostly people who watch youtubers and get all their opinions about how the game should be from them. It's depressing in a ship of theseus kind of way, updates and playerbase/demographic changes have rendered the game unrecognisable and the old TF2 lost to time. --- Still waiting on that third threat ...
