She was doing the sit-com thing where due to a hilarious set of circumstances she ended up inviting 2 guys to the same place for the same date.

Then kept making excuses to leave for a while so she could swap between you. After the date(s) she ended up with you but never told you about what happened.

You find out tomorrow when you off handedly see the other guy say that he took out her to the same place at the same time for a date in a Lise Yates situation.

if only first date, thats pretty funny. sounds like a keeper.

Honestly, I would have walked out on that first date since she kept leaving in the middle of it. I'm too old and cranky to put up with bullshit like that.

I require said party to be lurking in the background of all our life's interactions because it's the only way to control for continued success.

you keep it up and have two different families with each girl and they dont know about each other. Their is a sitcom based on the hijinks that ensue in said situation.

Part of his gimmick is to use the exact same cookie-cutter catchphrases whenever possible.

This actually kind of did happen with me. Except it was within days of hanging out.

I learned that she was picking the right guy to date.

Been together for 15 years, so I'd say she chose correctly.

If its the first date then she isnt really your GF at that point. Id tell her nope no more and move on.

I am pretty certain on The Office no woman had two guys on the same date. Which throws the rest of the list into question.

Oh yeah, I haven't seen that forever. There are tons of examples, especially from the 70s, 80s and 90s, which is why Abed from Community wanted to do it so badly

So many people on CE need to learn that just saying "oops, my bad" or "I'm sorry" is the proper thing to do, and not a weakness. Gets you much farther in real life.
