Its such a ridiculous hill to die on. Are anti vaxxers really that stubborn?

Some of them end up dying... and still insist on the idea that covid 19 did not put them in that state nor that they have covid 19.

So yeah, some of them will take their false beliefs to the grave.

It's really weird to me as well. I'm usually submissive unless I'm afraid or scared.

i feel sorry for those people. Theyve been so misled and disillusioned to the point of no return.

Got a few sales reps at my company that refuse to get it. They won't be fired. But starting Jan 31 they have to get tests every single week and it gets taken out of their paychecks. Kinda wild they're willing to go through that rather then just get a vaccine IMO.

In the short term, not tying our fate to these schlubs.

Honestly, my solution would be to have the government offer a 2 week class semi-truck driving crash course and keep the vaccine mandate.

When they inevitably lose their jobs, provide 2 weeks of training and allow them to refill the floundering supply chain sector, a job where they happen to be isolated for 10-14 hours out of the day on average. Meanwhile, those in compliance get to do literally every other available job, freeing up positions for those who have been following the guidelines/restrictions.

You just hide entitlements behind mandates.

People will cave almost immediately. Any who don't are so far gone that nothing would help them in the first place.

1. Want to sign up for ACA? Need to be vaccinated.
2. Want your social security payments? Get vaccinated.
3. Do you want disability / unemployment / SSSI / SNAP / etc? Get vaccinated.
4. Want to go to school? Get vaccinated.
5. Want a business license? Get vaccinated.
6. Want a marriage certificate? Get vaccinated.
7. Want a student loan? Get vaccinated.
8. Etc
