They used to pay you to be off for 10 days since its typically the facilities fault if you get Covid. Now its 5 days and you can only use vacation time if you have any.

Yet they still force their staff to work in the Covid units without proper PPE and even have nurses going In and out of the units to help patients outside the unit. The only incentive is maybe $3-4 more a hr.

I havent had Covid and only remember at the start of the pandemic when at least my employer at the time was paying people whenever they got sick for those 10 days. This is totally fucked up. Ive only found out because Ive recently taken up employment as agency so Im traveling a lot.

My workplace would totally take covid leave as unexcused absences.

And of course, they got all the fucking computers and phone numbers. They don't even take doctors notes...unless you on medical leave....and guess what they need, a doctors note.
