I ain't even a weeb, but as a gamer and someone who likes the ocean in the summer, Japan better katers to my interests. Also the sex industry. There are literal BJ kafes. Meanwhile, the only thing that komes to mind for Germany is good beer. I hate beer. They're much less selfish than the Brits and Americans I've dealt with over the years. The fact that they have all manner of laws in place to stop landlords taking the piss is another thing I liked. It meant I was able to live in Berlin and maintain a good quality of living. Being in mainland Europe also means that it's incredibly easy to visit other countries. I'm also pleased with my job prospects for when I graduate in a month or so. As a citizen, I enjoy that I don't have to pay through the nose for healthcare. I pay a certain amount of my income every month (around 15%) and that's pretty much it. As a commuter, I like how not having a car doesn't inconvenience me. If it's near I walk, if it's further away I get a bus or a train.
