Yup. Gus was a fantastic villain but they dragged him out so long I was screaming at the TV "Gus, just fucking kill them already, are you seriously a crime lord? Do you have any self-respect?"

I wouldn't say there's a "worst" season. More like least best and for me it's season 2. It has some good stuff in it, but the others are just better to me. Early on with Tuco is cool, but after a while my interest wanes a bit. Don't care much for the Jane story and looking back the fake foreshadowing stuff isn't great. On rewatches it can be a bit of a slog at times. 5 gets crapped on, but I really like it.

I guess besides To'hajiilee and Ozymandias, I wasn't feeling 5b as much as the rest, but it's not that I feel that it was a bad part of the series, just weaker, IMO.

Most of 5 was just coasting on the aftermath of 4. Like they were going through the motions of "we got 10+ episodes to fill before we can really start wrapping stuff up. I guess they keep cooking meth or something."
