4 Indian Nationals including a BABY and a teen boy were found FROZEN to Death near the US-Canada border after they walked more than 11 HOURS in waist high SNOW in -40F blizzard to attempt to illegally cross into the United States!!

Their bodies were found following the arrest of 47 y/o Steve Shand in Florida who is suspected of smuggling 7 indians which led to the discovery of the bodies in Manitoba, Canada in what police say was a failed attempt of crossing the border

It got down to -40F on Wednesday with blowing snow and poor visibility advisories that were issued when the presumed family of 4 were making their ill fated trek to the US border

RCMP Manitoba Commissioner Jane MacLatchy said after a difficult search in nearly impassible terrain they found 3 bodies together, a man, woman and baby and a short distance away a teen boy

RCMP in Canada with the Integrated Border Enforcement Team found the bodies after getting a tip in the US regarding possible human remains near the border of Emerson, Manitoba

Court document said one of the people spent a significant amount of money paid ot Shand so they could come to Canada with a fradulent student visa

The investigation into the family of 4 is ongoing which could lead to a larger human smugging operation of which Shand is suspected to be part of

Around that same time 5 other people were spotted by law enforcement who were also indian nationals trying to cross the border as one woman stopped breathing several times who was transported to hospital and now has to have a partial amputation on her hand

MacLatchy said it is an absolute and heartbreaking tragedy for this family who wearing winter clothing but that would not be enough to survive those conditions with endless fields and snowdrifts in the darkness.

She said crossings north from the US into Canada is more common given the political climate of people leaving the US and why would they picked this time and in those conditions to go they will never understand.

I'd rather live in a society that has the economic freedom make money and help it's own people with public health and other publicly funded programs all whilst living free from big government

Why the fuck would they want to leave Canada for the US?
