Supposedly the people who did this were related to him. Like cousins maybe. He is believed to have been there but as a lookout to warn of cops. He is much younger than his cousins I think.

No supposedly. He openly bragged how much he loved them all, and often went on to gleefully recount other crimes he committed.

My guess is he is in prison. He was posting regularly and bragging about how he would win an upcoming trial. Then he just never posts again. Likely things didn't go how he expected

I don't think its known for sure. But that's what I assume he went to prison for. Unless there was something else he never admitted to on here

He was a big part of the ANZ board, not CE though. I spoke to him on the board, on IRC, MSN and stuff for years and he seemed like a *good* person. I had no idea that he'd be the way he was.

I even met him a few times at ANZ board meetups. It was a freaking community.

I happened to come back to GameFAQs by accident pretty much a day or so after he did what he did, and there was a topic about it.

A Melbourne man who used a pair of pants and a pillow to kill his girlfriend just weeks after she underwent brain surgery has been sentenced to 22 years in prison over the murder, which he confessed to disbelieving police officers.

In the hours after he killed Caitlin O'Brien in June last year, Shea Dylan Sturt went to Flinders Street Station where he pleaded with a constable to arrest him, telling the officer how he strangled the popular nurse. A short time later, officers conducting a welfare check found Ms O'Brien's half-naked body on the bed in their home, with a pair of pants wrapped tightly around her neck. Ms O'Brien was recovering from brain surgery. Sturt, 33, pleaded guilty to murder and was today sentenced in Victoria's Supreme Court. He was ordered to serve 16 years before being eligible for parole.
Murder 'not a one-off incident of domestic violence'
Justice Christopher Beale said Ms O'Brien was only 31 when her life was cut short.
"You murdered her in her own home, a place where she should've been safe," he told Sturt.
"It was not a one-off incident of domestic violence." The court heard that Sturt had a schizophrenia-type personality disorder and smoked cannabis to feel calmer. But Justice Beale said using the cannabis was not the only way that Sturt could have tackled his anxiety. "You were aware that cannabis might cause you to become violently psychotic," the judge told Sturt. Shea Sturt had pleaded with a police officer to arrest him in the hours after her death.
Victim grabbed scissors to defend herself
On the morning that she died, Ms O'Brien was sitting on her bed when Sturt approached her and began talking about the end of the world. Court documents reveal he ripped her pants off to see if he "still felt anything" for her, and held her down, but she managed to get away and run to the bathroom where she armed herself with a pair of scissors. A struggle followed and Ms O'Brien was stabbed up to five times before Sturt held her down on the bed and smothered her with a pillow. Then, fearing she was still alive, he strangled her with a pair of tracksuit pants, before showering and heading into the city.
Two days before the murder, Ms O'Brien and Sturt, who had been together for a decade, exchanged chilling Facebook messages after he was detained under the Mental Health Act. "I would never hurt you," Sturt, now 33, told the victim. "I hope so. I get scared," Ms O'Brien responded. "Of what," Sturt asked. "You murdering me," she said.
Ms O'Brien's sister Martine said on the day of the murder the family "lost two people". "I just hope that he [Sturt] uses the next few years to rehabilitate himself," she said. "That's what my sister would've wanted. She would have wanted him to get better. "She would have wanted him to get help. And I really hope that he does that."

Obviously there was jediknight12345 who burned down a church. He said he did it "for CE" and gamefaqs was on the news and all that. Apparently one of the cameraman at the news station was a CEman and tried to downplay Gamefaq's role in the story as best as he could.

Another I can think of not from CE was some chick killed her husband and posted on some zelda message board while awaiting trial. Anytime someone would bring it up, there was a million white knights coming to her defense >_> Her username had Hylia in it iirc

Nope. He admitted himself to a mental health stay a few times.

IIRC, during the most recent self-admission for a mental health stay, his girlfriend was organising her stuff so she could leave and be gone before he got back, but he was discharged early.
