Yeah thunderstorms. The weather icon in the top left on the map has to show rain/cloud with the lightning bolt, not just rain. It appears a hair north of those two giant bent spike things above the sand beach camp (where the sandbars look like a hand)

If it's Manaphy, you need Mantyke, Overquil, and Buisel in your party. The take them to those 2 rock arches in the Coastland during the evening. When you pass under it, you'll get a message saying Manaphy appeared or something and then you can go to the cave on the north side of the peninsula and find her and 3 Phiones you can catch.

Anyone looked at the max beneficial stats of the new pokes? Ursaluna and sneasler I noticed were particularly insane according to serebii.

Finally have everything I want to train up an OP team for shiggles but I have no idea what to go with.

All Pokemon in PLA have the same stats. EVs aren't a thing anymore and the ELs which are this game's IVs can be trained with grit.

For nature because of how speed works in this game the best nature for every Pokemon is Jolly or Timid except for something like Blissey might want defense or HP instead.

I mean that their attack stat for instance with a beneficial nature would be over 400 for both the pokes I listed. Fully boosted with grit of course.

Yeah I even read those books in bdsp but it didn't register for shit because it was three months ago and it didn't do anything in BDSP so it got deleted from my brain lmao

Looks like it may have potentially been a "Hisuian Dive Ball" I'm guessing. Probably originally intended to have a PokeBall that could only be thrown from Basculegion but changed their mind later and just let you throw everything.

Serebii has some new info about the Space-Time Distortions.

There is no way to force a space-time distortion to happen as they are random, but they are checked every 5 minutes you are in an area. Resetting the state of the area by skipping to a later time will reset this and battling a Pokmon or being in a menu will pause the timer

Not sure if people are interested in a second general for this game. If there's no interest, then I hope to see some of you in the Elden Ring General later this month.

I'm down, I'm still playing this game, albeit, just finishing the dex at this point.

I found porygon and its evos in a spacetime rift in the Crimson Mirelands. idk where Bonsly is.

There is only two spots to get Bonsly unless you hunt for them in shaking ores. In the Crimson Mirelands, where the two Sudowoodo spawn(I forget the exact spot), or in the Coronet Highlands where the Sudowoodo spawn(near the ruins).

Porygon is in rifts iirc. Same place stuff like upgrades/dubious discs drop.

Got Bonsly... Can't get the distortions to spawn Porygon yet though. I'll keep trying.

I got Arceus today. The battle was way tougher than the nobles.
Still have some entries I need to get to 10.

Went through multiple distortions without a single Porygon spawning. Then I caught two of them in one. Nice. Now I just need the upgrade.

Go into your pokedex and sort by 'all' then find a list online with the Arceus full pokedex, see who's grayed out.

I swear Pokemon needs to keep this system and improve upon it because this is really fun.

While I absolutely love this game, I still appreciate the complexity and diversity of battles in the other main series games, so I hope that doesn't go away.

Where was the Alpha Lucario?

I just saw this but he was chilling somewhere near that slope place in the last map. He was near the hills.

Also the gigaton balls plus some random berries make capturing alphas so much easier.

Honestly, higher stars and higher overall level make capturing alphas a breeze. All the ones I had trouble with before are practically instant captures now.

I hate trying to find all of these wisps. I should have just not tried to get them randomly and just waited to focus on them. I don't know which ones I have and which ones I don't.

Yeah, I jet ball alphas from grass with a back strike and rarely have to battle them.

I have more grit rocks than grit pebbles now.

*Also Im making a color matched team and realized I need a shiny ralts after looking at these pics, fuck.

Also thanks for the vid, I would just be throwing balls at them instead of fighting... its a lot faster, especially because with all the resetting you wouldnt care that much

It'll probably be ones that can only be found in spacetime distortions like Weavile, Shieldon, Cranidos, Magnemite and Porygon.

I'm up to 232 caught. 83 wisps.

The Pokedex breaks down by region what you've caught and what you haven't. It'll put a red stamp on the cover of the region once you've caught them all from that region. So just look at the cover of your Pokedex to see where you still need to go

I used the map from Serebii and went to each spot until I was done with the whole area. Yeah, it resulted in checking spots that I had already gotten wisps from, but I couldn't remember all of them anyway.

Finally beat the game yesterday. The Arceus battle was a bitch.

Now I'm just working on completing research level 10 for the whole dex to get the shiny charm. About 60 more 'mons to go!

For those looking to complete the dex, here's a tip that wasn't obvious to me until I actually paid attention to it.

The research tasks that have the red arrow indicator next to them give double research level points. You can take advantage of these to speed up the research process. Especially useful for less common pokemon like Cleffa, Pichu, and Magby.

I finished all 94 requests. I just need to fill the pokedex now

I don't think you need to complete the research to get the charm just catch everything Good luck with Spiritomb I still haven't all I need for that thing

I like how Shaymin's quest has you escorting a person to a flower field where they have an emotional reunion with Shaymin. Then they leave and you're like "Gotcha bitch!" and throw a pokeball at it with a complete 180 in tone >_>

Not read anything before this but want to bitch/get help anyway. Is flying *supposed* to be fucking stupid in this game? The only way I can find to descend easily is to put the Ride away, call it back after dropping some distance, put it away again and repeat until I'm on the goddamn ground. Considering we had a fully functioning Flying buddy in OR/AS this is just inexcusable.
