I think steroid use should be completely transparent and the widespread phenomena of celebrities and fitness influencers lying about it is super bad for society and young men's self image problems. I'm glad there's a recent movement among certain youtube influencers to combat this. That said, 1) if you take PEDs in a sport where it is against the rules and actually against the spirit of the sport then you are piece of shit, and 2) I actually don't blame the celebrities so much, but rather the culture surrounding what they do. Like if someone said to me "we'll pay you $15 million to get jacked in 6 months, take these drugs and just tell everyone you eat chicken and brown rice"...yeah I'd fucking lie through my teeth too. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i.imgur.com/ILz2ZbV.jpg ... JuanCarlos1 posted... How do we know they use them? Dont see everybody putting their body at risks over massive gains. Because we know pretty well what the constraints of muscle gain/fat loss looks like by now and how it differs when someone has supraphysiological help. Bottom line, no fucking way does someone put on 40lbs of muscle in 6 months by doing some bullshit bosu ball fitness routine and eating lean protein, and yet that is exactly the sort of claims these celebrities are making in these roles. The risks aren't that bad if it's short term and you have good pharma knowledge behind you, also. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i.imgur.com/ILz2ZbV.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Gonna post this here as it's something I typed up before to a thread with similar questions - If you have average genetics and you do everything right, you might put on 15lbs of muscle in your first year of training. That would be really, really good. If you have stellar genetics and you do everything right, that figure might look more like 25lbs. That would be pretty incredible. Remember, this is FIRST year of training. For year 2 you can half that number. For year 3 half it again. An average guy who does everything right but doesn't use PEDs can maybe put on 25-30lbs of muscle in 3 years with dedicated training and diet, that is the benchmark we're starting with. This would be really excellent progress. These celebrities are definitely not new trainees, most of them have starting bases that suggest years of training. And yet prior to whatever role they put on 40lbs of muscle with minimal fat gain in 6 months??? Like imagine if we used that as a benchmark. What we're saying here is that a beginner should expect to be able to put on at least 60-80lbs of muscle in a year with very little fat gain. Do you have any idea how absurd that is? For reference, jay cutler - arguably the greatest bodybuilder of all time and someone with undoubtedly some of the greatest muscle building genetics the world has ever known - claimed to put on 50lbs of muscle in his first year of lifting when he was natural. That is an absurd number but at least in his case it's somewhat believable. And it still doesn't even scratch the number these celebrities are purporting to. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i.imgur.com/ILz2ZbV.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't kare about non-athletic kompetitive people taking roids. You're an actor just trying to look the part for a role, so I don't see the shame in it. However, people who sell/reccomend things to get in shape, while leaving out the fact that they themselves got there with roids, kan get fucked. --- https://i.imgur.com/PpxZDof.png | https://i.imgur.com/xMGLcGE.png https://i.imgur.com/nsBw6Sy.png | https://imgtc.com/i/sBYBaew.png ...
