People should expect GTA 6 to be a ground up project, following work of Red Dead Redemption 2

It won't be like GTA V, the new GTA might be a Sim realistic affair

so it counters the Silly as hell Gamey competitor of SAINTS ROW: Woke Era

GTA 6 will be opposite or more SIM , this looks like GTA V online gameplay btw

I wish they would make a new top down GTA in the spirit of one and two. I don't care if they only put it out on the switch or whatever but I think that format for gameplay is not so dated that it can't be fun.

think about it, why they never have added top view but every game has Cinematic view?

I expect GTA6 to not be as crazy as the previous ones. It wouldn't surprise me if they follow the path of RDR2.

They have to, it is their last work after GTA V

I feel they are going 80s with it, so they can keep it gritty and more realistic, Scarface era again

IIRC the original idea was that you were viewing everything from either a news helicopter or a police helicopter. I think the manual for the first game even says this

Also there was a top-down game not too long ago called American Fugitive. I bought it hoping for old school GTA and it didnt quite reach that level, but it's still pretty fun and does a few interesting things
