Like when you order online ahead of time at a fast food place or whatever. I just walk in and grab my food at so many places (Subway, The Habit, etc) as it's just out there in the open, and the staff rarely asks for my name or anything.

One time I ordered ahead at Chipotle and when I got there my food wasn't on the pick up shelf thing even though it said it was ready. I asked the staff and they said it was already picked up. I explained the situation and they re-made my order (while acting like it was a huge inconvenience). I was just wondering how often this happens to people.

Its funny you say that because the one time I picked up an order at chipotle they didnt even ID to confirm the order or anything I just gave them my name which was easily identifiable on the receipt stapled to the bag and they just gave me the food

I'm such a boomer I haven't used any fast food apps yet for preordering.

At the one near me you don't even have to ask anyone. There's a shelf off to the side where they put all the orders. Anyone can just walk in and take one of the bags.

I never use separate apps, I usually just go to their website.
