Critics have bad takes on most games that are gameplay focused. Could be neat, but I remember the early trailer feeling really repetitive and the dev only has one other title that's sitting at a 5/10 so I can't even really give it the benefit of the doubt. It feels more like a tech demo, IMO, like someone came up with a combat engine and shows it off using a bar stage, but that is meant to sell a publisher on a larger concept so a full game can be made. Maybe it'll be amazing, but I'd be worried that once you play two stages you've experienced everything and the rest is just repetition. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
