I say this out of the strange experience of not really having a family.

It seems like it'd be a pain in the ass to have to keep track of a bunch of peoples' birthdays, events they invite you to, etc.

It's quite the opposite. We all support one another especially in emergencies. With our grandmother being the last of four, our parents aging, and us being the third generation with growing families of our own we always keep in touch.

It is if you're family is completely disfunctional and immature. Thankfully, we don't have that problem and realize that it's basically us against the world, so to speak. We're unified under an unbreakable bond.

That sounds great. Everyone should have a healthy family dynamic like that.

My brother married into a big family. I get that he gets really tired of going to a lot of family functions.. but on the flip side its really fun as well and people are more supportive of each other.

Only one person cares to see me... Because their office is next door

One asshole keeps asking me what is for dinner, as of recently

People only want one thing, self sufficiency, but no one runs their own business they just profit off shit other people make

Calendars help. That said, my family is a little too large. I've recently discovered two cousins I didn't know I had, plus another on the way.
