General age gap, the age difference needs to be visible.

Also, once you get past 30 you can probably date anyone else over 30 and have it not be weird. Idk, I haven't really thought a lot about this.

2 year gap aint nothing. It becomes questionable when the gap between couples is like 7+ years.

Its usually when people have Daddy issues. I know a few people whos dad died when they were kids. One married a guy 15 years older than her and the other calls her husband daddy in public. its like wtf hes your husband not your god damn dad.

Not really, it is more important that whoever your dating is at a comparable point in your life. It would be weird if you were dating someone who was still in school and lived with their parents while you have a decent job and own a house, even if you were of the same age. Conversely, if both of you are divorced with similar aged kids, it doesn't really matter if you are 10-20 years apart age wise.

Im not even sure that matters, though. Especially since people have reasons for whatever theyre doing. For example, someone could have a good job, but stay with their parents because its cheaper and helps them both out. Why move out like early if theres no reason, for example

That is a different situation than I was describing though. My example was someone who needs to live with their parents because they are working on their education and can't get a job to afford their own place without sacrificing their studies. Your example is someone who chooses to because they are helping their parents out while saving money for something else (like possibly a house they can raise a family in with their significant other).

I guess. I still dont really think people need to be in a comparable point, depending on what comparable is. Like Im not sure my BF and I arent at comparable points. Like life-wise, hes been married and divorced twice with two kids. And I havent been married, nor want to get married. And dont have, nor need, any kids But I just think as long as you love each other, are both consenting adults, and have a good relationship, its fine. I wouldnt let an age gap or whatever separate them

Then I would say that is "comparable". It is less about history and more about what you are looking to get out of being in a relationship together. Yes, history plays a part in that too since it can impact the current relationship (like maybe helping take care of his kids?), but less so.

And if thats what makes it comparable, that opens it up a lot more to the point where being comparable almost doesnt matter. But I guess it depends on how you look at it. Like I said, I think relationships are fine as long as its legal, not toxic, and they love each other. Regardless of age gap, height difference, etc
