LMAO damn yall hated this dude so much when Titanic came out. What a phase.

Brad Pitt was hated around this time too, for much the same reasons. I even remember Maxim had this line in one of their articles about 'rules for being a guy' or whatever: "It's okay to like Fight Club. It's okay to like Snatch. It's okay to like Se7en. It's NOT okay to like Brad Pitt."

Yeah, I remember the paparazzi tried to give him a bad rap because they ran some kind of trumped-up story about how he was with a a friend/guard and that that dude try to jack somebody or something like that. They definitely were pretty down on him for a while.

back in the day i thought he was dumb because of movies like Romeo and Juliet and Titanic and how all the teen girls at the time including my older sister would be swooning over him nonstop.

then i saw Blood Diamond, and my opinion of him turned completely around 180 degrees.
