You would think most people in the country wouldve evolved past this by now. I dont understand why its so difficult to get past this sort of backwards thinking where words sound the same but have different meanings.

he can spell. He is trolling and this topic is bait. Homophone is another word for homonym. He knows that it is one letter away from homophobe but accurately described it in the opening post (words that sound the same phonetically but have different meanings, such as see and sea), hence the bait-trolling
