I think it's an easy choice but I'm curious what everyone else thinks

I like OoT considerably more so I voted for that option

To be fair, BOTW has a lot of empty space as well

haven't beaten botw but it didn't have that owl...

I vote OoT partly because seeing those dungeons fully recreated would be incredible.

OoT 3D made me skeptical for Nintendo's ability to recreate the original atmosphere in modern times. Don't think they good a job with the art style, and there's big moments like the lighting of the final Ganon fight that are egregious missteps.

This is a lot more divisive than I thought it'd be

I find both these games overrared but OoT is my least favorite 3D Zelda and modern graphics and sound won't change that

I don't see how making OoT HD or not would factor in much.

Very different kinds of games.

OoT is a fun game, with excellent dungeons (even more if you go Master Quest version), smooth gameplay and an air of epicness.

BotW is a garbage game, where there are no dungeons, 90% of the time spent playing the game is farming mobs to replace the garbage weapons that keep breaking that you can't keep a sufficient number of because of the absolutely moronic inventory system, and falls into all the "garbage open world" traps of modern gaming by having no throughline.

I would take any Zelda game but Zelda 2 over the absolute tire fire that is BotW

For me it's BotW, and it's not even close.

The advancements made since Ocarina go well beyond visuals.

(OoT with 2017 graphics would be really cool to try though.)

BotW, I don't like Ocarina. It just bores me.

I'm not really convinced that giving OoT even the best cutting edge graphics (which isn't even what it would get if it came out right now on the Switch) would actually make it any better of a game. Seems just as likely that they'd wreck it in some way that would end up with a lot of the player base preferring the original anyway.

another thing is I love messing with glitches in N64 Zeldas so yeah I'd rather go back to the originals even if an update was released

BotW has a jump button, OoT does not.

Polish and focus will not fix such an egregious mistake.

BotW, no contest.

OoT nostalgia got very soured on me when I tried to 100% Master Quest.

I don't understand the love for BotW. Did I just end up with a broken cartridge that has a bug that makes all of the weapons be made of paper mache? I gave up after the first "dungeon" because the game was a garbage grind and there was pretty much no reward to keep playing

This. I didn't enjoy OoT that much to begin with, but the aesthetic wasn't the issue. It was one of the better parts of the game!

BotW even if OoT was remade from the ground up with all the polish it can get.
