The story of the perfect remake: keeps the feel of the original, all while introducing enough stuff to make a justifiable experience for veterans and newcomers alike. New stars, bosses, characters, areas, and the models look so much better. But god damn, being on a DS really really screwed that game over on the controls department.

If they want to introduce "SM64DS, but not frustrating to play" edition, even if it's just a straight-up port of the OG with redone controls (I'll take DS-looking graphics because they honestly hold up pretty well for that game), that would be a must-buy.

Instead of re-releasing SM64 for the 100th time, perhaps this is something that can be done?!?

Yeah but hearing Yoshi's annoying sounds with every character, or accidentally getting hit and losing my cap, doesn't help much

I hated playing as anyone but mario in that game. The other characters were not needed

Just port the casino mini games
