I kinda miss having easy access to a Mucho Burrito. I never saw one before I moved to Calgary and I don't think I've seen any since coming back to Ontario; Google tells me they are around but they are really out of the way.

Do you not have Mexican immigrants where you live? If so, do them a favor and eat at their restaurants/foodtrucks. If you find some really good street style mexican food, its greasy but delicious as it gets. Food Truck near me sells these wonderful complex burritos which come with a choice of any meat that comes on the tacos.

If I want great Middle Eastern I'm spoiled for choice, but a half decent Mexican restaurant is a unicorn. I can get Ethiopian before I can find Mexican :(

Considering the variation in cuisine within a nation, their conventional menu items are "legit." Their weird stuff, obviously, is not.

It's the same with any other restaurant chain, even Olive Garden.

I'd say the greatest strength of a burrito is being able to stuff it with multiple different things so you can achieve some crazy flavors. If you want simple you go for something like a taco which is all about the meat.

Damn that sucks. Kind of surprised Canada doesn't have more citizenship for foreign immigrants. Here in NC there's a huge community of Mexican people, 1st, 2nd and probably 3rd generation. So we get tons of great Mexican restaurants here.

Middle Eastern food is very good too though. I have never had Ethiopian food.
