2 and 3 are better than the first though. Probably Genesis as well but I haven't played it yet

Also the games were to be a multi-part series (likely a quadrilogy) from the start so this is a double-wut. The first sets up a sequel so blatantly.

This is an actually good example. The first was a bizarre game that couldn't have sold many copies and yet it got a sequel that's not even the same genre
