I do remember that the first Breath of Fire game had a Black character in the Japanese version, but because he had "black face" in the Western release he was changed to a white character... which I'm not even sure if that was better or not.

jokes on ALL of you as only ONE person got it right whoever that is. Suikoden V was the answer as they did have a dark skinned character in the game, their origins are unknown and it was likely they were indian or native but not a black character. i used this site to get all the others however.
