"The main character is the bad guy" was pretty clever when KOTOR did it but I felt like Baten Kaitos took it a bit too far.

I wish I finished this game the story was great at the time. Got lost and didn't know how to progress and gave up.

Baten Kaitos is one of those games that I know I played but can't remember anything about it except that the voice acting sounded terrible.

One thing I hate most about a lot of JRPG plot twist is when they do the "it all went according to plan, everything you did in the game." even though there are times when that would be such a huge stretch.

My least favorite kind of JRPG plot is where the last 1-2 hours have an entirely different plot than everything that preceded it.

The first looks and sounds good but battle mechanics are off.

2 has way better battles but like everything else took a hit.
