So many dumb things happen in this movie, and yet I was decently entertained to say that I didn't waste my time.

My biggest beef was the ending:

Michael survives a house fire in the previous movie. Yet the civilian mob seems to think bludgeoning him with blunt weapons in the street is enough to kill him after chanting Evil Dies Tonight! Nobody thinks to actually shoot him in the head despite the one scene where the characters collect firearms out of the one guy's trunk. So of course Michael gets up. And of course this mob which has just beaten him down simply watches as he gets up and offs them one by one. Facepalm.

But again, as silly and stupid and brainless as this movie was......it was still fun IMO

And jesus, the scene where Michael digs the one guy's eyeballs out of his head with his thumbs.....

Evil dies tonight, and ol' huckleberry is gonna land the killing blow

The guy who killed a handful of people 40 years ago has struck fear in everyone's heart ever since even though he's been incarcerated the whole time

Halloween: The return of Tommy Doyle, the one where Laurie is in the movie for 10 minutes and she's hospital-bound the whole time

it sucked

The kills were good.

Everything else was awful.

Fucking awful.

My biggest gripe is How can you realistically kill Michael after ALL of that? Anything short of completely blowing him to pieces (or god forbid they do a Jason Goes To Hell and stab him with a magic knife or some shit) will not kill him.

The rest of the movie was waaaaaay too campy and goofy for my taste. This should have been a very serious movie. Fuck ol Huckleberry. Fuck "Im gonna finish what i started 40 years ago!". Fuck "Evil dies tonight!". And a big fuck you to "Welcome home Michael".
