20 y/o Minnesota College Student, Kailey Mach was killed after the House when was dogsitting for EXPLODED!!

The blast ignited a raging fire that ravaged the Lexington Township at 11:30pm leving a crater filed with piles of smoking, charred debris

First responders arrived and discovered her body in the basement of the home along with the 2 dogs

The owners of the property were away as she was looking after the pets

She was a student at Augsburg University where they released a statement on the tragic passing and are deeply saddened by the loss of Kailey.

Her uncle, Tim Siebsen said his niece aspired to become a teacher and worked as a pre-school aide while pursing a degree. He said she was loved by her kiddos and by anyone who knew her

She was involved in a Youth Church Group and was proud of her Czech heritage and served as junior director of the czech dance company

An investigation has now been launched to determine what caused the explosion

I used to take a guys dog for a walk who owned the paper shop on my paper round. I've never had a dog of my own despite always wanting one so that was nice. Shame about this story though.

That's super fucked up. What the bloody hell was going on there? Poor girl and dogs. Yes I've looked after several neighbor's dogs, and if it counts class pets. But I've never had a place explode.

I once looked after three different co-workers pets. They al deployed. And somehow, I got all the pets. I already had 2 dogs and a cat. One friend brought over 1 dog and 1 cat. Another brought over two dogs (who my dogs knew). And another brought 2 cats. It wasnt really that bad. The dogs just kept each other company running around and stuff. They all went out at the same time. Wed chill outside for a while It wasnt bad. My cat did her normal thing. The one cat who was brought over by the friend with one cat and 1 dog was super chill. He would sometimes push out the screen of the window to sit outside. But he would let me bring him back in. The other 2 cats I basically never saw. They hid inside my couch. I know they were alive because the food was being eaten, and the drawers were on the floor. Apparently, his cats had recently learned how to open drawers. And would pull them all the way out if they could

I'm guessing some sort of gas leak that ignited and went BOOM. :(
