Because box office gross is still the major money maker for studios as well as actors and other people that get financial incentives on gross revenue. They emphasize that to get ss many butts in theater as possible and dont want to highlight how short of a wait it is for streaming.

that means the movie is showing "only in theaters". so not available on home video, rental, etc.

The "only" is applied to "in theaters", not to the date.

There's no "would of", "should of" or "could of".
It's "would've", "should've" and "could've".

They usually say "Only in theaters, insert date here" not "only in theaters on insert date here"
