The top 3 from yesterday all have evolved forms here today, as does last place finisher Klink. Will this set pan out any differently?

Aron looks so cool though. Becomes a little generic after, but I still like my big beefy Rhydon types

I actually have some appreciation for Magneton in modern generations due to its different stat spread from its evo. It's faster than Magnezone so it is usable in different niches. And 120 SpA is enough to put that speed to good use in those situations.

Still have to give it to mecha-Bidoof though.

Lairon is literally the only one of these that isn't the lazy 'its the original evo but there's more of them together!!' design.

If I was new to Pokemon and someone showed me Lairon/Aggron and told me they were Hoennian Rhyhorn/Rhydon, I would believe them.

Aron is my favorite of his line, but it's still an excellent line

I very badly want to hate Doublade and Magneton but they're the best of the "the same Pokmon but with extra added" archetype. Also fun lines to use! Klang is awful though. Voted Lairon out of principle.

Shift Gear and Gear Grind are both really cool abilities, just kind of a shame the line wants to use its SpA more.

Yeah, that's the problem with Klingklang. It can't decide whether it wants to be a physical attacker or a special attacker.
