I have one sister and two half-sisters. When I was young, I joked that I had two sisters because "you add the two halves together." For some reason, I didn't grow up to be a stand-up comedian.

What's the most siblings you've ever had at one time?

One half-brother, that I didn't really grow up with, who is now dead.

Four half-sisters and a half-brother.

Do in-laws count?

Only my sister.

Currently at 2 younger brothers

One older brother, assuming you don't count in-laws.

2 half brothers and a half sister. Three step siblings from my dads marriage (though not anymore). And then there was this one guy. Technically, we werent step siblings, but almost. Our parents were dating for a while. And when he stayed with us, he shared my room

I have two younger half brothers. I've met them like, 3 times in my life. Once when they were very little, and twice when one was a teenager and one was an adult. The youngest seems nice. I have no strong opinion either way on the middle, other then that he seems very shy.

Kinda weird family tree, but I'll say 3 for the sake of the topic.

Honestly I don't know exactly. I think I have like 8 or so half-brothers and sisters, my mom was my dad's fifth wife.

Only child. I joked with my dad that he knocked up his last girlfriend given how much she was trying to contact him after they broke up, but as far as I know she wasn't pregnant.

I'm the oldest of 5, no half siblings that I know of.

If it's ever been more than zero, I haven't learned about it.

One. Not counting a half sister I haven't talked to in over 20 years.

One sister, she died in 2017.

Only my half-brother. Ive known him all my life so I rarely think of him as a half-brother though.

Older sister, died in 1985 from cancer.
Younger brother, still around.
My parents are still together and both never married more than once, so no half-siblings.

Are you thinking of step-siblings? Like the poster above, you dont need marriage for half-siblings to be born

Given that guessing "0," "1," and "2" would cover the vast majority of people's answers, it's a little too easy to brute force it. Any system that does use that as a security question isn't secure enough to trust with much of anything.

Sister died of covid last year sadly.

My piece of shit dad does have 2 insufferable children with his second ex wife.

One of my coworkers is 54 and has an 18-year-old brother. I'm... not quite sure how that happened.

Nah I don't mind.

He's been in and out of prison for much of his adult life, for various offenses. Nothing crazy like rape or murder, just shit like selling drugs and robbing people.

He's got a few kids and I used to help him out a ton, but one day I caught him in a lie when he hit me up for some cash to get some gear for my nephew to play football. I asked my nephew how he's enjoying football and he looked confused and said he's not playing football lol

Shortly after that my brother got picked up again and I decided I'd had enough. If he's going to keep going to jail I'm basically burning money when I give it to him.

Crazy thing is, if he hadn't lied to me I'd probably still be giving him money. He could've told me he was going to buy weed with it for all I care. My thinking has always been that if it helps him, even if it's for something stupid like weed, that's one less thing that he might get desparate for money for and maybe that will be enough to keep him on the right path.

Funny enough, that was the last time he went to jail. When he got out he asked me for money a few times but I refused. He's been working in concrete and doing odd jobs since. As far as I know he's not fucking up but I don't talk to him much anymore so

My younger brother is the total opposite. He's broke as fuck too but he'll eat Ramen for 6 months straight before asking me for money. And he'll make an effort to pay me back when he does ask for help
