Have you ever attempted to recreate your fav fast food at home?



I've tried to do the chicken sandwich from Chick Fil A but uh it didn't go well LOL

If I'm going to make something at home I'm going to make something better then fast food, the main draw of fast food is convenience not food quality

No. Closest I've come was trying to recreate a broccoli salad that I really like from a local supermarket deli. I failed this task.

Throw a chicken breast into a bowl with flour and spices, dunk it into some egg wash or buttermilk, back into the flour bowl and refrigerate that bad boy for an hour or so then pop it in the fryer til its 165F in its thickest part

Toast the insides of a bun, sliced pickles and your favourite spread, boom

Hard to mess up, even if you do you're left with a tasty piece of chicken that you can try and see what you'd change next time
