It's not over the top violent like the first two. It's just a great story with kingsman-style characters (like Rasputin)

If you go in not expecting something like 1 or 2, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised like i was. It was a slow start for sure though but stick with it.

The fight scene with Rasputin was magical. The rest of the fight scenes paled in comparison tbh.

It was a solid movie, but I wish it was more....fun. Halfway through it became 1917 for some reason lol. The twist over the main villain was also telegraphed all to hell, which didn't help.

I havent seen any of them, should I go with this one first or in release order?

Rasputin fight was the biggest highlight. Everything else afterwards was bleh. Should have saved him for last imo.

I agree with both of these.

Decent enough, but kind of lack luster compared to the first 2 IMO.

Basically no comedy to speak of, unlike the first two.

so my understanding is they made a prequel to a relatively niche set of movies but for some reason made it completely unlike the other two?

That was my problem

The Rasputin fight and the last action set piece felt like they belonged in a Kingsman movie but everything else was just ehhh and could have been any other movie

Its a fun watch though

The only thing I know about it is the after credits scene which is one of the most absolutely bonkers fucking thing ever shown in a movie.

If you go into it expecting something like 1 or 2, you'd likely be disappointed that it wasn't like 1 or 2 in many aspects. I wanted to dissuade that concern by saying it's not a "kingsman" movie like 1 or 2, but rather, it's just a good movie that feels like a spinoff of 1 and 2.

I preferred it to 1 and 2. Got rid of all the slime and decrepitude that bothered me about them.
