Amazon says it will get here Monday but I'm hoping for sooner.

It's a great game. The difficulty balance is a little all over the place sometimes, but otherwise it was a lot of fun.

I put it down at some point and don't know when I'll pick it back up, but I remember beating the chapter 2 boss by the skin of my teeth. Bosses are no joke yo.

Don't really like Bug Fables actually, combat feels too slow, and you never really get stronger as the game progresses, doing the same amount of damage each fight, heck, you could be near end game and still take a whallop from beginning game enemies, paper mario is far better, but this game is still alright for what it is

This is not true. As I mentioned, the difficulty is a bit off, but it's mainly because the game is really difficult at first, but trivial when you have a good build. I was one rounding many encounters by the end.

It's very true, I got near the last... I wanna say 1/4th of the game before realizing this and put it down, and the dififculty being off isn't good

So you didn't have a good build. Not the game's fault.

Nah the game was just bad imo

As I recall you get a badge (or whatever the game's equivalent of badges are called) that lets you skip low-level combat late in the game.

I loved it.

Well, I had hardly any issues with the combat by that point in the game anyway, even including the post-game bosses.

Difficulty was perfect IMO and I played with the hard mode badge on. A turn-based RPG where you actually have to strategize your equipment and battle choices instead of spamming your best moves and putting on the latest weapons/armor. Its an incredible game and the developers thought of every single QoL and bonus feature you can think of.

Can't disagree with that. The difficulty could definitely use some smoothing throughout so it's not as extreme.
