First off. I love this Batman pizza. It's super creative and wacky enough that it could only be brought to you by Little Caesars. The cheesy bat knots are incredible when dipped in the crazy sauce or the LC's garlic butter. The slices of traditional pizza adds variety and it's shaped like the Batman logo.

When picking up my Batman Calzoni tonight from the Little Caesars Pizza Portal I was greeted with a surprise. It was a limited edition Batman promo print.

Looking online it's but a number of promo items that were given away while The Batman is in theaters. I'm actually pretty stoked even though it's just a print of Batman with the logo in red foil. It really takes me back to the days when movie releases where a big deal and product tie-ins were actually items of quality. The Batman Forever drinking glasses come to mind. The Jurassic Park: Lost World digital watches. The Wild Wild West sunglasses. And how could we forget the Godzilla drink holders. Quick shout out to the Episode one drink toppers.

Anyways. It was a nice little surprise and I'm thinking of finding a nice frame to put it in. Even if it has a couple of greasy fingerprints on it.

Shame it's just a promo item. It's quickly become my favorite item on the menu :(

Mine only had the posters and the one i got last week was so fucked i just trashed it.

My daughter and her stupid GF left it sandwiched between 2 greasy ass boxes and it was ruweened.

That's funny. My first thought was that it was shaped like a panty protector.

I got one the other night and I loved it too. What really surprised me was the cheesy bat knots at the top/bottom ends of the calzony. Theres no way its just normal mozzarella cheese, theres other stuff in there right? Like garlic or a different kind of cheese? I cant tell what it was but it tasted so damn good.

No, you are right. Now that you mention it I think it's ricotta cheese.

I aksed that same question last week, and someone said garlic sauce mixed with cheese sauce

Yeah I think the garlic sauce+cheese combo sounds like it might be it. Ricotta has a fatter flavor to it and a different, more creamier texture, I think.

Plus I think ricotta would be too much of a premium ingredient for Little Caesars to use lol. No hate to them, they have good pizza for the low prices they charge, but I dont see them using ricotta in their pizzas. Could be wrong though.

I am inclined to agree with you. Honestly I thought a license as big as Batman was outside of their tier. Personally, I feel like they've really been trying hard to step up what they're all about. The Extra Most Bestest was a step in the right direction for the discount pizza chain. They have deserts and wings now too.

Same rules apply though, it's still a Little Caesars pizza. Don't eat it after it goes cold, lol.

The deliciousness of the knotted up portions is well worth the extra $2.50 or however much more it is than a regular pizza.
