It seems like a moderate nowadays. Some guy posted that liberals want war with Putin. Wtf? I don't even feel like I could possibly attain enough information to know wtf Putin is doing in Ukraine. I'm honestly trying to just work on myself instead of being bombarded with the constant negativity that the news NEEDS to employ to stay relevant. For all I know, Ukraine did something wrong. Fuck if I know. All I know is that war is bad and that we should avoid elevating the probability of some country using a nuke.

My opinion is that I know little.

The conservative space has basically been taking over by Trumpers such that anyone who doesn't slurp whatever crazy bullshit Trump is putting forth at the moment is a liberal.
Biden literally is not sending troops because he doesn't want war with Putin.
Trumpers still claim he does. They are slurping some insanity.

A liberal is, broadly speaking, a performatively woke capitalist.

The word 'woke' is so ambiguous nowadays. It seemed to mean awake at one point but nowadays it seems like so many people just want to use it to mean someone who wants to cancel everything.

I still call myself a liberal. Most people who call themselves "leftists" are turds that don't differ at all ideologically, but are uneducated and don't understand nuance or how change happens.

Liberalism, in broad strokes, is about capitalism that actively understands that things like monopolies and other advantaged positions will harm the stability of the system and thus does away with them. Remove the safeguards (generally called anarchist capitalism) and you move further right. Clamp down harder on them and you go left.
