I think MJ is too culturally significant for people to turn a true eye towards what he is capable of.

People need to separate the art from the artist. Moreso now than ever.

All I'm saying is that MJ is closer to a cult leader than anything else. The mental gymnastics of his fans to "prove" he's anything short of a diddler is truly staggering. Again, I think it has much to do with his status as a pop icon. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of MJ's music but the buck stops there. My gut tells me he was up to no good and I trust my instincts on this one.

Great musician. Dying 10 years before the mob started coming after him may have been a good thing. That would have been traumatizing if he were still alive.

I'd be lying if I said I can make much of a guess either way on the accusations around kids; but I definitely don't get why he's as popular as he is music-wise. He's not bad by any means, but to me comes across as like, decent music that I wouldn't complain if it's on but nothing special.

His music is great, but I have no idea on whether he did what he did or not. It's hard to decide.

His dancing was groundbreaking at the time, and he was a pioneer of the music video. He lived in the right time to have a lot of "firsts".

I think being robbed of his childhood caused mental issues leading to him becoming a hugely eccentric weirdo.

At the very least pity and sympathy. Also some of his music is fun.

Lots of kids have shitty upbringings that result in mental issues. I cannot understand why people give MJ a pass.

I kinda believe South Park's assessment of him. He didn't have a childhood and so tried to create one as an adult. Hanging out with tons of little kids while his age is asking for trouble and trouble found him.

As far as the skin goes he had a skin condition. But the mental downward spiral is a different story. I like his music.

I like his music. He clearly had a fucked up childhood that definitely led to him being fucked up later in life.

Its a shame how he ended up, but that doesnt make him any less talented or his music less great.
