Im still hours and hours away from beeating ER. If I wasnt afraid Id drop the game for months, I wouldnt be so bothered by this.

FFX has been out for decades might as well finish ER.

I think most would agree that 6, 7, and 9 are better.

Hell, I personally enjoyed 8 more because I found it more interesting... though I dont think many would agree with that point of view.

Go do FFX, you can beat it in like 20 hours without sidequests, come back in like a week to Elden Ring

4-9 are all better.

On ER, I just listed my copy on ebay. I started getting bored about 40 hours in, and slogged another 20 more before listing it. It was fun for a while but it wears thin kinda fast for an open world game.

When I stopped playing, I was in the middle of an NSG run, so it'll take longer than that >_>.

FFX is way better play that

It's interesting for the game to be more strategic than the usual, Piercing for armor, magic for flans, Tidus for wolves, and Wakka for birds, like it usually is. Those things still come into play, but there's a whole lot more you can do, that can become necessary. Particularly if you do a "No Escape" run, like I'm doing.

Honestly, NSG runs are pretty quick as well, I'm pretty sure I clocked in under 20 hours in one of my runs, but it would be a lot more if you added no summons and/or other stuff like no overdrives/no items

edit: ah just saw the previous post, yea no escape adds a ton of hours to the run

I'm trying to do that "Ultimate" one with a ton of stuff. I did an overdrive early on against Tros, and use overdrives against Belgemine, but otherwise I'm doing it restricted. But if I feel like I'm hitting a wall, I'll probably relent on some of the restrictions.

hmm the ultimate one like NSGNSNCNONENNE? That was the classic challenge from back in the day, the FFX board used to be pretty popular with many people attempting that one, but that can easily take hundreds of hours depending on how lucky you are with enemy drops. They might count a different challenge as the ultimate one these days though
