3 dealerships and 2 independent mechanics later, cant find out why my truck is overheating. 06 Yukon Denali that I dont drive very much. Its been garage kept for a few years now and very well maintained. Ive gotten so much work done and shes still overheating. Everyone got the same error code which is basically a I dont know code. Radiator, fan, thermostat, even had the head gasket checked, nothing. 1 Dealership offered me $9k for her but didnt have much to offer. --- Jive Turkey ... Copied to Clipboard!

They need to duplicate the problem. They need to drive it from cold and use a laser thermometer on the top and bottom radiator hoses. If each is under 220 degrees, like are 175 (within 10 degrees of each other) it's not the radiator. Then use the laser thermometer on the engine block to compare. Perhaps it's more internal than these people are checking. To me I think everyone is missing something or it's just a bad gauge. I've had bad gauges before that was never an actual problem. --- I'm surrounded ... Copied to Clipboard!

Is the radiator tank getting hot when it overheats? I had a problem ages ago where a defective radiator cap caused the tank to overheat since the seal was bad, took my dad weeks to figure it out. --- CE Mafia Archive https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u3gaka98zsp3m0e/AADYBrilDyGYhlAbpEnac5d_a?dl=0 ...
