I enjoy Thors as a setting and most of Class VII is great. The plot feels like it's a bit slow most of the way, but the final act is excellent.

Bottom 2 in the series for me (though I'm not done yet I'm on CS3) but I also didn't like Sky 1 much at first so maybe it will grow on me

9/10 probably? I really enjoyed the main story and all the NPC stories going on in the game. Not all of it is perfect especially the hilariously bad cliche writing with Alisa early on, but for the most part most of the cast are great and the game does a good job getting you invested into everything.

Once it gets out of the typical Trails slow start it's great. Just not as great as the other Trails.

9.5/10. IMO, Trails is at its best with fixed parties, so that you can have all the characters interacting with each other. I think this game provides some pretty good setup and world building for the rest of the series.

they still have more interactions than they do in the other cold steel games, alas...

I like getting to pick my own party so it was disappointing when the game made me use characters I didnt like. I never really wound up liking some of them enough to ever want them in my party
