just finished the first major arc, it was cool so far. the idea is freakingly similar to the witcher (super soldier/mutant/half humans fighting monsters) but since there is no way the 2 series could've interacted (unless the author know polish language) it's not really a ripoff od each other but more like convergent evolution.

at least I won't be burned with the lack of endings like when I read vagabond

Its a lot different. Not the best ending but an ending nonetheless.

Oh thanks for reminding me of this. I read a chunk of the first arc a while ago and remember it being pretty decent. Might have to dip back into a Viz subscription to read it again.

Claymore is really good for awhile
It gets worse as It goes on but at least it didn't have a filler ending like the anime

I haven't read the manga, but I tried the anime, and wasn't feeling it, for some reason.

I'm a big fan of Berserk, though.

It has its stumbles, but I think it manages to remain quite good until the end. It manages to keep all the characters at least relevant to the story, and ties up most events by the end of it.
