But the whole point is that I want to run 3 of Thunder Dragonlord to make it more likely that I get 2 of them on the field at the same time, specifically to use them make True King. The vast majority of the Thunder Dragon decks I saw on MasterDuelMeta don't run Dragonlord at all, and most of the ones that do run it only run 1 copy... except the one I saw that ran 3 of them specifically to use them to make True King, which is where I got the idea.

Yeah. I saw that after the fact as well. You can totally run with 42 and 3 of them. Just know that it can lead to some inconsistencies is all. Its a good card and abuse VFD while you can. Why not right?

Ah, nothing like getting the right opening hand to raigeki a drytron player and negate+return the card they drew next turn.

I think I'm done with my RE deck. I'm not sure how to modify it anymore without branching into other archetype (like Rokket) or killing my non-existent SR/UR CPs. It doesn't have good record nor consistency but I'm kind of satisfied with it.

Making (almost) pure Rokket/Borrel next, I guess.

Edit: oh, if you have any idea how to get rid of Verte assuming it survived the turn, I'm all ears. That 500 ATK makes me have heart attack often.

Lmfao just used madolche against a kaiju deck. Kept looping to stop their most dangerous card each turn, then made them remember that kaiju can use counters on any side of the field. Then they tried to teardrop and oops I just negated that. They ragequit before I went for a 7300 attack bad boy. Woo. <3 But not really, in like 18 duels I've still not managed to meet the "attack and destroy the opponent's monster with your own 5 times" mission finished.

Imagine the opponent successfully summoned 4k ATK Galaxy-Eyes [something] Dragon, had me surely dead in their next turn, but they surrendered right after I was like '?????'.

And then I forgot that House Dragonmaid is still the humanoid form of dragonmaid thus Chamber can't change into it.

Edit: didn't the 'destroy card 5x' mission can be accomplished by anything? I do think the 'declare attack 5x' sucks balls, though.

Finally got to test the ramen package (Ready and Instant fusion) and I gotta saywow. Its such a jump start to Thunder dragon lines of play. I think I would have lost if I didnt have ready fusion to play through a big stop.

And it was against dragon maids. You just cant let them get going.

Speaking of synchro, I want to try putting Debris Dragon into my Dragonmaids. I just need to find good synchro targets that don't need SR/UR CP.

Black Rose engine is essentially there to spam out the generic synchros and in very rare case end with the Black Rose link that can reactively pull out Black Rose or Ruddy. Sadly they've not been given nearly enough recursion to get the costs required to pull that shit off, so it's easier to just summon Borreload Savage/Crystal Wing/Baronne and any combination of them.

It's a bit lame but that's how most synchro decks are nowadays.

Perfection and Ultimatness both have the same effect, Ultimateness just has a better body so it's harder to attack over. Since Dryton is the most common engine and that only cares about tributing monsters whose attack is equal to or more. 1800 vs 2000 atk is not much different when the drytons are 2000 atk.

Now if you were using a different ritual engine that uses stars, then perfection is far easier to get out.

Unless they were ultimates the secrets are only 15 now. So you still end up ahead if you buy them back.

The funny thing is that, even though I knew stealing the 8k ATK King of SS via RE Chain doesn't do shit, I still stole it anyway out of spite since I already lost when the bastard summoned two of it.

Really should've made a habit to set monsters in DEF position but since I don't know what I faced, I'm a bit afraid of random DEF piercing monsters (like Chaos Ancient Gear).

Thats why Toad is limited to 1. Recycles itself, doesnt JUST negate but can steal it too. When paired with Dupe frog you cant just battle over them.

Awww man. And yeah, the higher you climb the more likely it is that people can be trying to bait Sheous negate. Ive only done it successfully in one match myself. The recycle is nasty with house/fusion graveyard stuff. So Im thinking ahead for that.

Considering Sheou is an Omni-Negate it has slightly different play style compared to hand traps or other counter measures. The other types you want to use quickly to stop plays dead in their tracks to kill momentum. Sheous negate is a break glass in case of emergency at the right moment. Its not easy either, you have to know how other decks work to use it the best. On the flip side it feels damn good knowing you can stop them when it counts.

I built a Crusadia deck because it looked cheap/fun and had OTK potential, and in my very first online duel of the season I ran into a Sky Striker player and OTK'd them with 13,000+ damage of Crusadia Equimax straight to the face.

On a side note the freedom in fusion of many other decks just made me even more irritated @ RE Fusion limitation. I guess I'll just scrap it for real and go Flare Metal turbo.

You know, I see people wanting to ban Verte. On one hand I kind of see their point, on the other hand, it allows to circumvent RE Fusion's weakness so it being banned would make sad tears.

Verte being free when DPE comes out will make 0 sense. The problem with copying effects is that so many things become circumvented because it bypasses a lot of the balancing restrictions, let alone copying from the freaking deck for what is basically a non-cost for a monster that has an essentially free summoning condition. Verte's presence just makes no sense.

Honestly, just ban Halq, Electrumite, Verte. I don't think the game needs them. But I guess for Xyz, you would have to ban Zeus too, though I think he's not nearly as enabling and oppressive as the enabler links.

Electrumite is probably the reason we'll never get a powerful Pendulum archetype/support ever again lul. Heck, probably same goes for tuners and fusion spells, though as soon as Verte was banned, the TCG got Branded Fusion, which is case in point
