It's happened more than once. I don't tell the spouse but I'm not screwing around with that person anymore.

I ended up sending an email with the evidence, after incidentally coming across the guy on social media. He was actually cool, and I felt bad that his wife is such a whore.

Men are still held to and expected be monogamous in relationships, but a double standard has been created where women are expected and encouraged to cheat. But monogamy does play on humanity's base selfishness of "this is mine, not yours".

And sharing, knowingly or not, your partner (sexually) can trigger that inherent selfish desire. It's why people may be open to the idea of a threesome or orgy but once they see their partner being shared they turn against the idea.
